Family and Lifestyle
Photographer
Available in Neerim

Family and lifestyle photography is all about capturing special moments in your life… moments like birthday parties, the birth of a child, a moment in the history of your family, or anniversaries.  It may also be a way of capturing your home, the decor of a function, or any objects you want to capture in a beautiful way.

You want to recall these moments: see it… feel it… relive it! Again and again. Vivid. Close to your heart.

That’s why your family and lifestyle photographer creates beautiful pictures…

  • in images of the raw, unposed moments in the day… the candid photos… the natural portraits…. and the unique details that you would like to remember,
  • in pictures that are authentic expressions of who you and your family are,
  • in a “documentary” that captures the moment, ceremony od people you would like to remember, and
  • in a way that allows you to enjoy the photography shoot.

More about Suzanne Fouché:

Becoming a family and lifestyle photographer seldom  starts in a moment or with a single decision. It usually starts with a passion… a passion to see the world through a lens of beauty. Looking for beauty all around you. Beauty in places, people and things. After that comes the hard part of mastering the skills and the intricacies of creating pictures that touch your heart.

My photography journey started at a fairly young age…

Welcome to Neerim, Victoria in Austalia

Neerim is a small, picturesque town in West Gippsland, Victoria. It is about 110 kilometers southeast of Melbourne, surrounded by rolling hills, forests, and farms. Neerim is a peaceful place that feels like a step back in time. If you love nature, art, and country charm, Neerim is the perfect spot to explore.

A Short History of Neerim

The name “Neerim” comes from an Aboriginal word, but its exact meaning remains unclear. The area was originally home to the Wurundjeri and Kurnai people, who lived in harmony with the forests and rivers for thousands of years.

In the 1800s, European settlers moved to the area. The rich soil and reliable rainfall made it ideal for farming, particularly dairy farming. The timber industry also played an important role, with local forests providing timber for building and transport. Neerim grew as a quiet farming community, keeping its small-town charm for generations.

Today, Neerim and its surrounding areas, like Neerim South, are known for their natural beauty, art, and friendly community.

The Beauty of Neerim

Neerim is surrounded by lush greenery, mountains, and winding country roads. The town has a relaxed atmosphere, with fresh air, quiet streets, and stunning views. It’s the kind of place where you can escape city life and enjoy the simple beauty of the countryside.

The nearby Bunyip State Park and Mount Baw Baw make Neerim a gateway for people who love hiking, fishing, or photography.
